How is EASE On-the-Job Training different from a traditional Learning Management System (LMS)?

Most LMS platforms are built for corporate or HR-led training programs. EASE is designed for the factory floor and operational teams. It connects training to audit findings and corrective actions so you can reinforce quality habits and safe working behaviors on the job. EASE On-the-Job Training is not a replacement for a corporate LMS.

Additionally, many frontline and hourly workers are unable to access their company’s LMS because they don’t have company email addresses. EASE supports email-free authentication and offers unlimited users with your subscription, ensuring you don’t incur extra costs.

How does this system link findings from audits directly to a need for targeted retraining? 

The EASE platform creates a closed-loop system for quality improvement. When an auditor finds a non-conformance, they can assign targeted training or a specific SOP review directly to the responsible individual or team from the finding’s record. This eliminates generic training and ensures process failures immediately result in addressing specific knowledge gaps identified on the shop floor.

How is training a corrective action?

Is EASE On-the-Job Training included in my subscription?

On-the-Job Training is available to EASE PRO plan subscribers. If you’re unsure of which package you’re subscribed to, check with your Org or Site Admin, or contact your account manager.

Can frontline workers access training without an email address?

Yes. You can add workers who don’t have an email address to EASE so that they can access training from a tablet, smartphone, or workstation. And because EASE subscriptions include unlimited users, everyone at your site can learn with On-the-Job Training.

Can I assign a supervisor to deliver training?

Yes. You can assign a trainer to deliver the training in person. The trainee still gets full credit in EASE.

How do we prove that a worker has reviewed and understood the training material, not just clicked through it? 

EASE goes beyond simple completion tracking. It verifies understanding through two main methods: 1) Embedded Assessments (short, required quizzes or knowledge checks integrated directly into the training modules) and 2) Digital Sign Off (Supervisors and operators complete a final sign-off to confirm that they have reviewed the materials together and understood them).

Can we upload our existing paper Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), videos, or other training materials into the EASE platform to create digital training content?

Yes, EASE features centralized content management through its Files Manager. You can upload all existing training assets, including SOPs, Work Instructions, videos, PDFs, and one-point lessons, and store them in a single, accessible location. The system also includes AI-powered content creation tools to quickly convert your existing documentation into standardized, mobile-friendly training modules.

Do I have to update training content in multiple places?

No. After the file is uploaded to the Files Manager, changes automatically apply wherever it’s used. No duplicate work required.

Can I track training completion and overdue assignments?

Yes. You can see who’s completed training and who hasn’t using dashboards and table overviews. You can filter by site, team, or individual.

Can we track the long-term impact of our training efforts by seeing if non-conformance rates drop after a specific training module is completed? 

Yes, EASE measures the true effectiveness of your training. The reporting dashboards provide visibility into the relationship between training completion and subsequent operational performance. You can measure leading indicators (training completion rates) against lagging indicators (such as non-conformance frequency) for the specific process or location that received the training, proving a measurable ROI on your quality training investment.
